Introduction Hello, and welcome to my electronic portfolio. My name is Jean
P. Webb, as a first time college student I never had a English class that involved
computers. As time went by, I noticed that work was saved in the computer
electronically, and it was different between the typical folder and notebook
I was used to. This was the first time I ever heard of a electronic
portfolio, it sounded interesting but fearful at the same time. It reminded
me of a personal website, I was willing and interested in making one for a
long time, and this was a chance for me to do so. When my class and I started to produce our portfolio, I was
dumbfounded, simple setups were hard for me to get. But over time I learned
and discovered how to make a descent portfolio as you are about to see. As
described in class we found out that these portfolio’s will might benefit use
in a number of ways. When looking for a job, you can be able to express
yourself as well as show them your portfolio, it presents a number of skills
to a future employer. It shows organization skills, presentation skills, and
importantly writing skills as well. The outline of my portfolio is setup in outcomes from one to
ten. Outcomes can be described as requirements that were needed to complete
the English 101 course. Just as I described in the being, it is basically a
collection of completed assignments done throughout the semester, that is
organized in a smooth tone and style, that looks neat and professional. By allowing my work and a little of myself into this portfolio,
it is a pleasure for me to introduce you into my outcomes, that are backed up
with artifacts, actual work that I produced, to show how the outcomes were
met in my portfolio. It was an honor for me to be in this class. I hope you have as
much fun looking into my portfolio as I did creating it. Thank you. |
